The idea of a 3rd person shooter where your upgrades is additional units in your army is cool. The gameplay is somewhat gooey, feels like I'm being held back, this could be because of controls. Controls is the biggest issue. They are hard to feel, hard to get right. But also buggy, after a couple of minutes of play my char ends up off-screen and I cannot bring it back in. There seem to be a weird mix of 3rd person shooter and top-down implementation and they fight. Until controls are fixed it's almost umplayable, unfortunately. The graphics are rough, but it's also kind of funny. Since everything is made out of primitives, maybe there is a way to make it more fun - let rag dolls fly and bounce, let parts fall off. As for the units, I didn't play every unit you already have, but could use a heavy shield unit that blocks and pushes enemies away. AOE unit, that swings an axe and kills around them. Various magic units that hinder enemies (stun, slow, prevent attacks).

That's a cool idea with potential. Having a mouse with a heavy scroll wheel and unlock is a cheat code, very satisfying to play this way! However, there is a certain level of cognitive load I believe due to different modes of running vs turning. Since running is via scrolling, if feels like steering should also be via mouse - either run towards the cursor, or via clicking. Maybe comes with practice but using A and D for turning was difficult. Otherwise controls and animations looked great. I did score a goal!
