Well, I don't know a first thing about chess haha, but it seems to work well and virtual players with unique identities is a nice touch. The 3D mode caught me off-guard, such a transformation. It had blue vs greenish-blue pieces though, which was visually difficult to handle for a game like this and perspective projection makes it harder to assess positions.

Reached the door 3. At first I thought OMG, this will take forever to understand what's going on and I felt engaged. But even without a dedicated tutorial it was quite clear what to do. I really like the Figma-like canvas for the skill tree and the how effects combine. Didn't see any bugs except that some portions of text become in French sometimes :) (played on windows in Chrome). The visual style seem to be not exactly consistent between different screens - would expect pixels everywhere, but some tools seemed too smooth. I'm also a story games person, so at least some sort of plot into would be cool.
